We have snow

Panorama view from our cabin early Saturday morning.

A little bit blurred - not easy to keep the camera steady on a moving sled - passing Noor, Lærke and Vida with Ingrid-Helene and Rune on the little sled. Birk and Smilla were in the main team of eight, while Arwen is at home keeping Nanuq and Sanne company this weekend.


Wonderful day with a new cellphone to document it. Video from yesterday´s sledding can be seen here. One certainly can not complain about the view. We found a scooter track leading us from Dåfjordeidet at Ringvassøya, straight through the birch forest and all the way up on the mountain plateu. Beautiful area! Isa and Arn in lead, followed by Smilla and Amarok, Varg and Falk, Bella and her Grandpa Birk in the back. Jonny plus me on the sled. Rune and Ingrid Helene on the little sled with Noor, Vida and Lærke. Silje and Aske skiing. Sverre-Leander and his friend Luna got a ride down the mountain.

Noor´s "dangerously" beautiful blue eyes caused a little accident yesterday! She was running lead in front of Rune and the kids on the sled, just having gotten down from the mountain and passing along a short part of the main road to get back to the car. The driver in a meeting car got so fascinated by her blue eyes that she simply ran the car straight into the ditch. Or maybe it was my husbands lovely steel grey eyes that did it? That we will never know! Fortunately, everything went well! And the lady was all smiles when she exited the car.
