National Dog Show in Tromsø Sept 4 - 2016

Today's show (Norsk Dalmatinerklubb´s Dogshow Sept 4) was a very wet and very disappointing experience for us. It really did not go our way. But I guess we have to think of the good results from yesterday - when Bolt and Saija both got their first Cert / CAC and Bolt won BOS - instead of being sad about today.

Northspring´s Green Lake aka Bolt was easy going, but still high on hormones and influenced by all the females in heat around him. My favorite handler, Patrick, showed Bolt to perfection. Bolt got a blue ribbon (very good) from judge Gunnar Nymann today: "9 months, little rangy male, good head, good muzzle length, nice eyes and ears, good length on the neck but must grow better into the shoulder, good topline, a little high projected and carried tail, moderately angled, somewhat narrow between the hind legs, must lower head to get better movement, good coat, well presented".

In Norwegian: 9 måneder, litt luftig hanne, godt hode, fin lengde neseparti, fine øyne og ører, god lenge på hals men må gå bedre inn i skulder, god overlinje, litt høyt anslått og båret hale, moderat vinklet, noe trang bak, må senke hodet for og få bedre bevegelser, god pels, vell presentert.

Carillo Saija got a red ribbon (excellent) from judge Gunnar Nymann - but no CK / Cert / CAC: "16 months, a little heavy in front, muzzle must not be shorter, scissor bite, ok eyes and ears, strong neck, excellent topline and tail, slightly more angled in front compared to behind, excellent coat, wants slightly better tail, better stride, better drive"

In Norwegian: 16 måneder, litt tung i front, neseparti må ikke være kortere, saksebitt, ok øyne og ører, sterk hals, utmerket overlinje og haleanslag, litt mer vinklet forann enn bak, utmerket pels, litt bedre haleføring, bedre skrittlengde, bedre drive.

Best of Breed today - and also yesterday - was 17 months old Sansa (Sophie´s Pearl Time Of My Life). Congrats to Rita Kramvig and Sansa who won not only BOB today but also BIG and BIS4!!!
