We have a date planned for our Hilma when she goes into heat again - hopefully real soon - and are keeping our fingers crossed for puppies this coming summer in collaboration with Madeleine Hanssen at Kennel Framover

Hilma FI13061/21 (born Sept 30 2019) was imported from Matti Salmi and Jane Helppi / Nellim Husky in Finland last summer. She has completed four races so far this season together with Ida-Helene (Beaskádas 300 245 km (12/16), TromsQuest 60 km (3/7), Bergebyløpet N70 240 km (13/16) and Herringen trail 50 km (4/4)), and has also earned herself three Norwegian sled dog merits (two 1st prices, one 3rd price). Hilma is a beautiful, sweet, intelligent female. We love her efficient running / movements, her focus and work ethics. She is fast and energetic, moves and works efficient in harness, with high endurance, and she has also proven herself to be a good lead dog who loves to take commands chasing speed. Hilma has excellent results on her eye scan including gonioscopy (ECVO) March 13 2023.

Hilma will be mated with Nikolai av Chi-Ka Siberians NO30307/21 (born Nov 16 2020).

Nikolai has long been a favorite of ours. He has an exciting pedigree from good racing lines and has completed Beaskadas 245 km (9/16) and Troms Quest 180 km (5/6) this season with Madeleine, resulting in two Norwegian sled dog merits (1st prices). Nikolai is an excellent sled dog, with extremely good work ethics. He is still young, but already shows that he has great talent and has been one of the most important dogs in Madeleine´s team throughout the 2022-2023 winter season. Nikolai loves speed, and chases speed better than any of the other dogs in the kennel. He is a great lead dog, rarely makes any fuss or drama, and is really easy going. He is a really uncomplicated male dog, avoiding conflicts and always at his best behaviour in the pack. Very playful. Constantly cheerful. Loves ladies. Fairly soft and low in rank. Eats well. Enjoys cantering, but switches to trot when he realizes he can't run as fast as he wants! Nikolai himself has not been eye checked, but both parents are clear on ECVO including gonioscopy. More info and photos of Nikolai can be found on the Kennel Framover webpage.
