Getting ready for the dogshow in Tromsø June 2013

Our beatiful Smilla from Kennel Ulveblikk has had her bath before the dogshow this coming weekend. She really hates the SPA time and screams our ears out when in the bathtub. Very happy when she can finally jump out and shake off all the water on the bath room floor. She has not been well prepared for running attentively next to me in the ring - and will propably be speeding and jumping like she normally does when out running - but hopefully her good looks will result in "top grades" anyway. Whish us luck!

We are back to normal temperatures again in Tromsø and look forward to the arrival of our new dog cart mid June so that we can start running the dogs in larger teams again. Meanwhile mountain climbing, forest walks, biking and playing with eachother and us keep the dogs active. Thanks to all our good friends who help out in training the dogs. And who gladly borrows one or two dogs, taking them out on various actions. This weekend for instance Birk is going mountain climbing, fishing and camping in Dividalen with Steffen. Good for him!

Lærke is still the baby in the household! Always full of joy and lots of action! We have had the big spring cleaning in the outdoor area of the dogs and Rune has fixed all the dog houses. And we have filled up the winter store with dried grass for the houses.

The blog just passed 50,000 page views, and we are celebrating with a video of Team Snykovet highlights from this winter / spring on YouTube. Hope you will enjoy it:
